What is the most suitable safety glass in interior design?

Our STRATO® CLEAR product range.

STRATO® EXTRA CHIARO can be safely applied in interior design, inside buildings as well as in outdoor areas exposed to weathering conditions.

Thanks to its outstanding clarity STRATO® EXTRA CHIARO allows a very high light transmission but on the other hand it also offers a full protection against UV radiations. Filtering more than 99% of UV rays, it avoids the fading of interior furnishings. It is specifically formulated to provide exceptional durability when exposed to weathering conditions.

STRATO® PLUS is the non plus ultra of the EVA films for the architectural glass market.
It provides a completely natural and neutral-looking glass thanks to its high degree of transparency and UV protection.

It has a higher degree of fluidity and elasticity compared to STRATO® EXTRA CHIARO: this allows the customers to laminate special inserts such as LCD (Smart Glass), PET or fabrics without problems of distortions or air bubbles ensuring, at the same time, the highest degree of transparency even with low temperature lamination. STRATO® is certified according to European (UNI EN ISO) and American (SGGC – ANSI – Miami Dade) standards. STRATO® Plus is delivered in rolls up to a width of 2600 mm

Is the quality of Satinal products certified?

STRATO® is certified according to European (UNI EN ISO) and American (SGGC – ANSI – Miami Dade) standards.

An important goal for Satinal is the achievement of ISO 9001 certification which demonstrates its commitment to constantly guaranteeing the highest quality products on the market. Satinal started all the activities of standardization and finalization of the in-house production processes, successfully achieving ISO 9001 certification goal starting from 2021.

Satinal collects a sample of each item produced and delivered to customers in order to promptly check any problems encountered by the end user. This allows to make double quality checks and to establish the true causes of post-laminating problems should they occur. Furthermore, the strict quality controls during the production process ensure the provision of high-quality products in compliance with the standards required.

What are the main applications of laminated safety glass?

The use of laminated safety glass fosters new technical solutions thanks to the ability to deploy thinner and lighter laminated safety glass panes.  The main applications of laminated safety glass are interior design and architectural, including façades, overhead glazing, balustrades, glass floors, staircases, doors and partitions.

What is a laminated safety glass?

A laminated safety glass consists of two or more panels of glass assembled together by means of one or more plastic interlayers of the same type, such as a STRATO® EVA film that guarantees perfect adhesion to the glass and strong resistance against weathering agents (in outdoor environments).

Laminating a glass means making it safe: in case of breakage, its splinters are not divided into multiple pieces that can be a serious danger to people.
